In 2005, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons developed the Practice Accreditation Scheme as a voluntary measure to encourage practices to strive for high standards of clinical care, client service, and cleanliness, as well as continuing education of vets and nurse training. Practices enrolling in this scheme undergo stringent four-yearly inspections and may be subject to spot checks at any time.
We have achieved accreditation with this scheme since its inception, and are proud to currently hold the General Practice, Farm Practice and Equine (ambulatory) Accreditations. You can rest assured that you have selected, for the care of your animals, a practice that conforms to RCVS’s high standards of animal care provision. However, we do not stand still, and continue to strive toward improving our practice in all of our work.
